My name is Caleb Richard Pieplow. I am 18 1/2 years of age. I was born on Febuary 1st, 1991, and spent the first nine years of my life in Stow, Ohio and the rest of it in Rootstown, Ohio. I drive a Chevrolet Lumina and a Ford 12-seater van.
I have been homeschooled by my parents from the very beginning, and I graduated this year.
I have five siblings, one older brother, two sisters, and two younger brothers.
My older brother is graduated, and all my younger siblings are being homeschooled.
My parents believe that it is their God-given right and responsiblity to instruct their children in the home,
and thus, they homeschooled.
I have just begun my first semester at Stark State College of Technology,
where I am majoring in Interactive Media Technology, in the field of Video Production.
The decision to attend college was a relatively last minute one, and I almost feel that it was better in some ways to be so.
I didn't have to go through the waiting period before beginning...I took the COMPASS test and enrolled,
and half a week later classes began. I am taking 'Interactive Media' and 'Internet and Web Design' this semester.
Last year, I had an emergency appendectomy in June and a cyst removed from my spleen in October.
I was in the hospital for a combined total of about 10 or 11 days, as well as a few trips into the ER after the appendectomy...
I had never had as many hoses portruding from my body as I did after my appendectomy...come to think of it, I'm not sure if I've had tubes coming out of my body before that. Hehe.
My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, watching movies, listening to music, making movies, (or attempting to,)
and spending time with family and friends. I love playing Ultimate and Volleyball.
My favorite genre of music is film score. My favorite film music composers include Hans Zimmer, John Williams and Michael Giacchino.
As far as movies, actors, and actresses go, my lists could go on forever, probably...and would speak eloquently on how big a part of my life movies are.
I quote movies all the time - lines from movies often jump into my head at just the right moment to address the situation at hand,
often to be met by laughter or groans from those I'm with at the time.
